The Zoo’s “mane” man pounced onto the scene in 1923. His name was Prince and he reigned over one of the first open-air grotto exhibits with his pride mates, Cleo and Queen. Not only was Prince a regal and handsome lion, but his gentleness towards his many cubs was a truly warming sight.
